Day 1 — The valleys and the underground world
Göreme Open-Air Museum — Byzantine rock-cut churches decorated with frescoes
Derinkuyu Underground City — descend into an ancient subterranean city carved across 8 levels
Pigeon Valley and Üçhisar Castle — panoramic views over the whole region at sunset
A hike through Rose Valley and Red Valley — among sculpted rock formations that glow in the afternoon light
Day 2 — Hot-air balloon and discoveries
Hot-air balloon flight (optional, highly recommended) — drift silently above the fairy chimneys at sunrise
Ortahisar — a quiet rock village crowned by a natural fortress
Avanos — the pottery capital of Cappadocia, shaped by the Red River for centuries
Love Valley — the most photographed landscape in Cappadocia
