Day 1 — The Valleys & Underground

• Göreme Open-Air Museum — Byzantine cave churches decorated with frescoes

• Derinkuyu Underground City — descend into an ancient subterranean city carved 8 levels deep

• Pigeon Valley & Uçhisar Castle — panoramic views over the entire region at sunset

• Rose & Red Valley hike — through sculpted rock formations glowing in the afternoon light

Day 2 — Balloon & Beyond

• Hot air balloon flight (optional but highly recommended) — drift silently over fairy chimneys at sunrise

• Ortahisar — a quiet rock village dominated by a natural fortress

• Avanos — the pottery capital of Cappadocia, shaped by the Red River for centuries

• Love Valley — the most photographed landscape in Cappadocia
